I know what you mean about the shipping thing - my otp is Doctor/Rose, and I find it hard to ship anything that isn't canon just because I know that most non-canon ships will never happen and it makes me sad. The only other Doctor Who ship I REALLY ship is Doctor/TARDIS. It makes me happy because they'll always be together!
